About Us
Clients participate in individual therapy sessions at least once a week, as well as family and group therapy throughout the week. Family and group therapy help clients build a foundation of support among their peers and loved ones, while one-on-one sessions help us connect with clients at their current level, emphasizing realistic expectations for symptom reduction as we work towards progress.

What We Offer
Our program includes practical life skills training through cooking classes and nutrition education, which helps clients develop healthier lifestyles. The group sessions will evolve continuously and cover fundamental topics such as family of origin issues, identity exploration, trauma processing, concept of self, and core milestones. This dynamic approach ensures that clients engage with a variety of subjects during their stay, with groups tailored to create a more personalized experience. Sessions typically last between one to two hours.

Stay Connected
We recognize the important role that families play in the recovery process. We encourage family members to participate actively, as their involvement is essential for the long-term stability and well-being of loved ones. Our program is very focused on client education and family support. We value educating family members to let them know what to look for and how to help their loved ones. At Montgomery Behavioral Health, we offer a monthly family night support group to help in this process.

On-Going Care
We recognize how crucial ongoing support is, which is why our alumni program provides outreach services and meetings, available both in-person and online. Fostering connections between alumni serves to nurture bonds that enrich the well-being of our clients at discharge and beyond. Our commitment is to ensure that our clients feel connected to our community even after completing their program, promoting a sense of belonging and encouraging lasting wellness.

“Before I came here, I felt stuck, isolated, and hopeless. Now I have clarity, coping skills, and a sense of purpose I didn’t know was possible. I’ve tried therapy before and never felt much progress — until I came here. The approach was personalized, respectful, and practical. I’m grateful for the real changes I’ve seen in my life.”

“I was overwhelmed and scared to start treatment, but from the first session I felt genuinely supported. The tools and strategies I learned here helped me manage anxiety in ways I never thought possible. They treated me like a person, not a diagnosis. That made all the difference. I finally feel like I’m moving forward instead of just surviving.”
