Meet Allie Duprel

Allie Duprel

Behavioral Health Technician

1. What is your role and what does it look like day to day?

I work as a Behavioral Health Technician, where I support clients with their daily routines, provide emotional support, and ensure a safe, structured environment. Day to day, I focus on building rapport with clients, encouraging healthy coping skills, and being a consistent, supportive presence in their treatment process.

2. What is your background?

I was born and raised in Prattville, Alabama, and graduated from Stanhope Elmore High School in 2018. I started out working in healthcare as an ophthalmic technician and medical assistant while exploring my career path. In 2024, I moved to Orange County, California, where I worked for over a year at a substance abuse and mental health facility as a Behavioral Health Tech. That experience helped me grow both personally and professionally. I returned home in October 2025 to be closer to family.

3. Why do you love working at Montgomery Behavioral Health?

I love working here because of the supportive and knowledgeable team. It’s clear that everyone genuinely cares about the clients, and we create a positive, no-judgment environment where healing feels approachable and supported.

4. Why do you love working in this industry?

I’m passionate about mental health and helping others work through challenges like trauma and emotional struggles. Being able to support someone during a difficult time and see their progress is very meaningful to me.

5. What are you most passionate about professionally and personally?

Professionally, I’m passionate about continuing to grow in the mental health field and eventually pursuing education in psychology. Personally, I value connection, self-growth, and supporting others in becoming their best selves.
