1. What is your role at Montgomery Behavioral Health? What does that look like day to day?
My role here at Montgomery Behavioral Health is a Behavioral Health Technician , and what it looks like day to day for me is Monitoring & Safety Observing clients’ behaviors, mood, and interactions throughout the day
• Ensuring the environment stays safe and therapeutic
• Reporting any concerns, incidents, or changes in behavior.
2. What is your background? What degrees do you have and which universities did you attend?
I have been a Social Worker for 3 years , and I have been working in mental for about. I have a Bachelor degree in Social Work from Troy University .
3. Why do you love working at Montgomery Behavioral Health?
I love working at Montgomery Behavioral Health because it gives me the opportunity to make a direct impact on people who are going through some of the most challenging moments in their lives. Being able to support clients, help them stabilize, and see even small progress in their behavior or mindset is very rewarding to me.
4. Why do you love working in this industry?
I love working in the mental health field because it allows me to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives during some of their most vulnerable moments. I’ve always been drawn to helping others, and this field gives me the opportunity to support individuals as they work through challenges, develop coping skills, and improve their overall well-being.
5. What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?
Professionally, I’m most passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health and overall quality of life. I’m especially passionate about working with youth and families, because I’ve seen how early support and guidance can really change someone’s direction. I enjoy building trust with clients, helping them develop coping skills, and being someone they can rely on during difficult moments. For me, it’s about making a real impact, even if it’s one step at a time. Personally, I’m passionate about growth—both my own and the people around me. I value becoming a better version of myself, whether that’s through learning, staying disciplined, or improving how I handle different situations. I also care a lot about being there for others, whether it’s family, friends, or people in my community. I try to carry that same mindset of support and consistency into everything I do.
